Vintage superstore
October 30 2006
In just a short walk from the Bullring in Birmingham, you come to this magical place. The new vintage shop, selling well everything vintage!
It’s been open about a month and it is quite possibly the biggest vintage shop in Birmingham city centre (urban village and yo-yo being the only other two I can think of currently). It sells clothes, bags, hats, shoes, belts, jewellery and possibly a whole lot more (didn’t have a good look) filling everyone’s share of vintage clothes.
I had a short rummage around (I think a good hour or two is needed to really browse) and did purchase a jumper/waistcoat type thing (hard to describe, but nice) for £8. But I wanted much of the shop!

If you live near Birmingham and happen to be in the centre at some point, I recommend a rummage around. I’m sure you’ll find something as it’s blooming massive.
** EDIT 10/10/08: I don’t check or edit posts on here normally, but I know this was such a popular post so I feel I ought to just add… I think that this shop is now apparently called Cow Vintage. They have a website here, which doesn’t provide much in the way of detail admittedly, but it’s there. Please do not ask me why they are called Cow (I would LOVE to know myself) or anything like that because I do not work for them and do not know. Hope that new piece of information helps anyone looking to visit. **

We are going to the bullring tommorow, where is the shop??????

It’s along Digbeth high street, towards the Custard factory.
From the bull, if you walk down the ramp towards St. Martin’s church, then go along the front of the bullring, past the church and Selfridges. You come to a busy main road, cross at the crossing to get onto Digbeth High street (not Moat Lane, which is next that Digbeth. Moat lane is the road that goes past the Rag/St. Martin’s Market and has the Fancy Silk Store on it). Then just follow Digbeth road along and it’s along that road.
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps – search for the bullring or custard factory, it’ll help to understand.

They don’t at the moment I know that much. Whether they are planning to have one, I have no clue. It may be worth asking someone next time you go in – I may do so I think.

It’s mighty good.
I practically live there.
I cant help it.
I’ve got my work experience there, too, so it’s gonna be bloody brilliant.
Love Tamsin.
